Orlando AttractionsOkay ... of course you want to know about the Orlando attractions! There are so many things to do in Orlando, that you could stay for a month and not get to all of them. The links on this page should help you to decide what Orlando attractions to do and when, so that you get the most out of your Orlando vacation. If you plan properly, you might even have time to relax, too!

If you are planning to go to a major Orlando-area theme park, make sure you get some sleep the night before so that you can be at the attraction early, before the crowds accumulate. Don’t plan any other events for the same day as a major theme park. My tips on the Full Day Parks home page should help you to get all that you can from your visit to the major Orlando attractions without leaving you in a state of collapse from utter exhaustion and unable to enjoy the rest of your Orlando vacation.

The Half Day Parks page will lead you to some of the fun and often skipped Orlando attractions that won’t take an entire day. You can wake up whenever you want on days that you have planned these attractions and still have time for some night time activities afterwards.

Places To Kill Time is a section devoted to Orlando attractions that can be done in an hour or two. These places are perfect for killing time while you wait for your hotel room to be ready (most don’t permit check-in until 4:00 PM). Check-out time is at 11:00 AM for most places and you may need to kill some time before your flight. There are plenty of things to do listed here that may just be the perfect beginning or ending to your Orlando vacation.I'm Late

Some important words of advice: No matter whether you choose to go to a large theme park or a small Orlando attraction, please remember to wear comfortable shoes and clothes. You will be walking a lot during your time in the theme parks. It’s also a great idea to bring a change of dry clothes and store them in your car or in the lockers that are available at all of the major theme parks and at the water parks. You will be glad you did if you ride any of the water rides or if you get caught in one of the rain storms that sometimes spring up seemingly out of nowhere. Finally, I can’t be emphatic enough here ... WEAR SUNSCREEN!!! You are in the tropics when you visit Florida and the sun is many times stronger than most of our visitors are used to. A day without sunscreen could very well leave you in bed with sunstroke or sun poisoning for days and unable to visit the Orlando attractions.
