United Kingdom Pavilion

Some of the friendliest people you will meet during your Orlando vacation can be found working at the United Kingdom pavilion. With quaint cobblestone streets and a vast array of architectural styles ranging from Victorian to Hyde Park, Regency to Yorkshire Manor - even a Shakespearean cottage that was modeled after Anne Hathaway’s quaint abode, visitors will feel as though they have actually been transported across “the big pond.” With no movie presentation or ride, the shops, pub and entertainers are the featured attractions at the United Kingdom pavilion.

At the Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room, visitors to the United Kingdom pavilion may dine on traditional English fare including shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash, fish and chips and kidney pie. To top the meal off, try some Yorkshire pudding or sherry trifle. There are really three types of pub designs represented at the United Kingdom pavilion ... the “country pub,” the “street pub” and the “waterfront pub.” Engaging conversation, a yard of ale or two and a great piano sing-along bar contribute to the relaxed camaraderie of this EPCOT Center favorite. For a quick bite, pop by Harry Ramsden’s Fish & Chips where you can enjoy a spectacular view of The World Showcase Lagoon as you dine.

There are plenty of places to shop for Orlando vacation souvenirs at the United Kingdom pavilion. Crown & Crest is the place to go for fabulous fragrances, with a variety of perfumes and potpourri to delight the nose. If unique games or toys are what you seek, visit The Toy Soldier and discover a variety of items for the young ones including wooden boats and Corgi model toys. The Queen’s Table at the United Kingdom pavilion specializes in fine china, figurines and other collectibles including Bunnykins and Toby mugs. Park guests with Scottish ancestry can trace their family roots and find their clan’s plaids at the Sportsman Shoppe. All visitors to this United Kingdom pavilion favorite will appreciate the fabulous wool and cashmere items from Scotland's famous sweater maker, "Pringle of Scotland" as well as tams, ties, socks, scarves, mittens and even kilts. The Magic of Wales offers an assortment of items including jewelry, handcrafted gifts, pottery and candy. For those seeking a “proper cup of tea,” The Tea Caddy offers a selection of bagged and loose teas, biscuits, tea kettles and chocolates that can rarely be found outside of the United Kingdom.

For your entertainment pleasure, two different acts at the United Kingdom pavilion provide great Orlando vacation fun! The World Showcase Players are an English improv group that will engage the audience and have them rolling with laughter and The British Invasion is a knockoff group that will have the entire crowd belting out Beatles favorites with them.
