Quaint shops, a sidewalk cafe, a breathtaking movie and a world class restaurant make the France pavilion one of the most popular places in The World Showcase. If you would like to eat at this country’s award-winning dining establishment while visiting EPCOT Center, make your reservations as soon as possible, as it always becomes completely booked up very early in the day!

Impressions de France offers an aerial view of this France Exteriordiverse country. Shown in the Palais du Cinema at the France pavilion, a 200º-view theater that is the only one in The World Showcase that offers seating for weary EPCOT Center visitors. This 18 minute travel film showcases some of the multifarious geography, renowned events and classic landmarks that France is famous for. Highlights include the French Alps, the Mediterranean coastline of Cannes, Bastille Day celebrations, Versailles and the Eiffel Tower.

Chefs de France at the France pavilion is often cited as having the best food in all of Walt Disney World. In fact, it is considered by many to be one of the finest French restaurants in the entire world! The nouvelle cuisine offered here was created by the three owFrance Diningners, renowned chefs Paul Bocuse, Gaston Lenotre and Roger Verge. Coquilles Saint-Jacques, Mediterranean seafood casserole, escargot, Cassoulet and Duck a L’ Orange are just some of the mouthwatering dishes served up at this extremely popular establishment. Those who want only the very best during their Orlando vacation can pull out their wallets and head up to the second floor of the France pavilion for the even more upscale offerings at Bistro de Paris. The foie gras, quail, lobster fricassee and truffles will leave your head spinning. EPCOT Center visitors with sweeter tastes and a more modest bank account can venture over to Boulangerie Patisserie, where delicate French pastries are the specialty. The indulgences at this France pavilion counter eatery include tarts, eclairs, chocolate mousse, croissants, quiche and cheesecake.

If shopping is your chose préférée à faire, then the France pavilion won’t disappoint. At Plume et Palette, fine French perfumes can be sampled and purchased. More perfumes as well as bath products and Guerlain cosmetics can be found at La Signature. Art aficionados will love Galerie Des HallFrance Pavilion Shoppinges at the France pavilion, where Parisian impressionist souvenirs abound. La Casserole is an excellent place to pick up tabletop items, dinnerware and other unique pieces from Southern France. At Les Vins de France you can sample wines (for a modest fee) and take home a souvenir glass of your visit to the France pavilion and/or purchase a bottle or two of your favorites.

If you are visiting the France pavilion Wednesday through Sunday, the comical waiter/juggler act, Serveur Amusant, performs a twenty minute show that the whole family will enjoy and remember as one of their favorite Orlando vacation entertainment acts!
