The Canada pavilion spent as much time on the construction of the outside, as they did on the inside. The landscaping itself, is an attraction, featuring a miniaturized version of Victoria’s world famous Butchart Gardens and a depiction of the Canadian Rockies, complete with a thirty foot waterfall. Many fabulous photo opportunities of your Orlando vacation can be taken here! Inside the Canada pavilion, you’ll find an excellent restaurant, shops and a spectacular movie presentation.

O’ Canada is the name of the Circle-Vision 360º film that is shown in the seatless Maple Leaf Mine theater at the Canada pavilion. Although the movie is a bit dated,Canada Exterior the sights are still spectacular and the film has always been a favorite of EPCOT Center visitors. Experience what it is like to lead a dogsled team and go on a toboggan run; find yourself in the middle of the Calgary Stampede and witness the Changing of the Guard at Parliament. You’ll be glad there are handrails in the theater when you join the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Snowbirds precision flight squadron. During this seventeen minute presentation, you will also see the magnificent splendor of Canada’s geography and wildlife in addition to gaining an appreciation for the many different people and cultures of this melting pot nation.

Le Cellier is the name of the extremely popular restaurant at the Canada pavilion. It is cited by many as one of the best steak and seafood places in the Orlando vacation area. In addition to steaks, the restaurant offers excellent salmon, pork tenderloin and Canada’s famous cheddar cheese soup. Although no mixed drinks are served here, an impressive selection of Niagara wines and Canadian beer is available.

Often overlooked, but not to be missed by those with a sweet tooth, is the Trading Post and Northwest Mercantile. This small shack in front of the Canada pavilion sells a unique and tasty treat called “beavertails.” Beavertails are deep-fried, whole wheat pastCanada Entertainmentries that are coated with your choice of a variety of mouthwatering flavors like apple and cinnamon, strawberries and cream or chocolate and maple syrup. This Canada pavilion shop is also well-known for its Roots Olympic team-wear and offers moccasins, lumberjack shirts and soapstone carvings as well. At La Boutique Des Provinces, visitors can pick up Canadian Blue Mountain pottery, Anne of Green Gables dolls and an assortment of jewelry, ceramic items and art prints.

For entertainment, don’t miss Off Kilter - a kilt-clad progressive Celtic band that rocks the Canada pavilion! To avoid crowds for this popular act, see them perform earlier in the day, before everyone in the park realizes that they are playing.
