Islands Of Adventure - Toon Lagoon

Dudley Do-Right's Rip Saw FallsDudley Do-Right’s Rip Saw Falls: Snidley Whiplash is at it again. He has kidnapped Nell Fenwick and is about to send her to her doom. With a “Wait, I’ll save you!” you jump into a log flume and are off to rescue the love of Dudley Do-Right’s life.

Riders must dodge flames and saw blades in this perilous chase through an abandoned saw mill, as time is running out for the lovely Nell. A huge explosion at the end sends you and your log flume plummeting over the edge through fire and smoke down a 75-foot waterfall. Will you make it to the bottom and save Dudley’s one true love or will the evil villain get the last laugh? This is an Express Pass ride and there is no doubt about it - You Will Get Wet!

WARNING: If you would like to experience Dudley Do-Right’s Rip Saw Falls at Universal’s Islands Of Adventure, there is a height restriction of at least 44 inches and individuals that suffer from back, neck, heart or any other physical limitations and pregnant mothers shouldn't ride.

Me Ship, The Olive
Me Ship, The Olive: Kids can hop aboard this ship named for Popeye’s sweetheart and enjoy a boatload of fun. This interactive playground has plenty of buttons to push, gears to shift, bells to ring and whistles to blow and is an excellent place to get some fun photographs of your Orlando vacation! Children can shimmy up ropes and slither through crawl spaces as they traverse their way up the three floors of “The Olive” (there are stairs for the adults). From the top, they can take aim with water cannons at the unsuspecting river rafters, riding on Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge Rat Barges, below them.

Popeye & Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges
Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges:
That big oaf Bluto has once again made off with Olive Oyl, the woman that Popeye calls “the love of me life.” You’ll need an extra large can of spinach in your 12 passenger water raft if you stand a chance, as you must battle Bluto and a giant octopus in this river rapids adventure.

This soaker will more than likely leave you absolutely drenched. If the churning, splashing water doesn’t get you, the strategically placed park guests with water cannons surely will. An Express Pass is available for this ride, as well.

WARNING: If you would like to experience Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge Rat Barges at Universal’s Islands Of Adventure, there is a height restriction of at least 42 inches and individuals that suffer from back, neck, heart or any other physical limitations and pregnant mothers shouldn't ride.

The Inside Spin

The Inside Spin

  • There are 150 different cartoon characters displayed at Toon Lagoon. How many can you find?

  • The drop at the end of Dudley Do-Right’s Rip Saw Falls changes its angle of descent in mid-drop from 45-degrees to 50-degrees. This causes the vessel to go airborne and free-fall for a second or two. It is also the first water ride to send riders below the waterline, falling fifteen feet below the surface under an exploding dynamite shack.

  • There is a silhouette of Popeye’s face carved into the mountain at Popeye’s Bilge Rat Barges.
