Adventure Express Tour: This six hour experience gives guests front of the line access to Kraken, Journey to Atlantis and the Wild Arctic rides. In addition, lunch and reserved seating at two select shows is included as well as the opportunity to go behind the scenes and touch a penguin, feed dolphins, seals and stingrays. Polar Expedition Tour: This tour gives Orlando vacationers the opportunity to touch a penguin and explore the backstage area of the Wild Arctic section of the theme park. The price for this tour is an additional $16.00 per adult and $12.00 per child (age 3-9).
Predators Tour: In addition to having the opportunity to visit the backstage area of Shamu Stadium, guests get to touch a small shark and peer down from above at the 600,000 gallon Shark Encounter attraction. The price for this tour is an additional $16.00 per adult and $12.00 per child (age 3-9).
Saving A Species Tour: One of the more popular “behind the scenes” tours in the Orlando vacation area, here guests get to visit Sea World’s rescue and rehabilitation center. Sea turtles and manatees receive special treatment at the state-of-the-art medical facility so that they can hopefully be returned to the wild. In addition, members of the tour group have the opportunity to hand feed exotic birds in the theme park’s free-flight aviary. $1.00 from every ticket sold for this tour goes to the Sea World and Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to research, conservation and education projects throughout the world. The price for this tour is an additional $16.00 per adult and $12.00 per child (age 3-9).
Dolphin Nursery Close-Up: This is probably the most popular special tour offered at Sea World. On it, guests visit backstage at the Dolphin Nursery, getting an up close look at bottlenose dolphin reproduction and calf-rearing through Sea World’s successful breeding program. In addition, members of the tour can interact poolside with mothers and their calves and talk with the Animal Care Specialists who are responsible for the daily care of the dolphins. The price for this tour is an additional $40.00 per adult (age 10 and up).
