Sea World - Rides

KrakenKraken: Described in both Greek and Norwegian mythology as an enormous sea monster that would attack a ship and eat its sailors, Kraken was a vicious creature feared by all seamen. In the world’s most popular vacation destination, Kraken is an entirely different beast. Here, it is Orlando’s tallest, longest, fastest roller coaster and is the only one that rides floorless above the track.

Arms and legs dangle from the shoulder harnessed seats as the coaster roars around the track at speeds that reach 65 miles-per-hour during the incredibly long three minute and forty second ride. This monster of a ride has a fifteen story drop, seven inversions including a cobra roll, a zero gravity roll, two vertical loops, a diving loop and a flat spin that will have you screaming the entire 4,177 feet of its length.

WARNING: If you would like to experience Kraken at Sea World Orlando, there is a height restriction of at least 54 inches and individuals that suffer from back, neck, heart, motion sickness, or any other physical limitations and pregnant mothers shouldn't ride.

Journey To AtlantisJourney To Atlantis: Atlantis ... Poseidon’s idyllic island in the middle of the Atlantic. A land that became so rich and powerful, that greed corrupted the morality of every Atlantean who occupied it. In a judgment decreed by the gods, the entire island was swallowed up by the sea in one violent tidal surge.

This is your opportunity to visit the newly rediscovered island-nation and view the riches of a people lost for 110 centuries. The “sirens” are not happy that you are here; however, and they will do anything to keep the lost city of Atlantis to themselves, including the imprisonment of any who discover it for themselves.

This high-speed thrill ride traverses all terrain in an effort to help visitors escape the mythical island. The “water coaster” is a roller coaster when on land and a flume ride on the water. With unexpected twists and turns at every junction, you never know where you will be heading next. Expect to get wet on this ride, which features two enormous drops, and don’t be surprised if you see lines in excess of one hour for this amazing Sea World Orlando attraction.

WARNING: If you would like to experience Journey To Atlantis at Sea World Orlando, there is a height restriction of at least 42 inches and individuals that suffer from back, neck, heart, motion sickness, or any other physical limitations and pregnant mothers shouldn't ride.

Wild Arctic RideWild Arctic Ride: See the beauty of Alaska from above on this simulated helicopter ride that sends guests soaring above America’s last frontier on the way to an arctic base station. After leaving the helicopter, you can explore the arctic region on foot, observing some of the most playful and beautiful creatures at the theme park.

WARNING: If you would like to experience the Wild Arctic Ride at Sea World Orlando, there is a height restriction of at least 42 and; as with all simulator rides, individuals that suffer from back, neck, heart, motion sickness, or any other physical limitations and pregnant mothers shouldn't ride.
