Sea World - Exhibits

Explore the world under the sea up close with these sensational exhibits. At each one, Sea World has painstakingly gone through steps to re-create as closely as possible the exact natural environments of the inhabitants. You will get an up close look at diving dolphins, playful polar bears and penguins, silly seals and sea lions, swarms of stingrays and shiver-inspiring sharks.

Clydesdale HamletClydesdale Hamlet: Visit horses that are fit for a King. Budweiser, “The King of Beers,” that is. A great spot for Orlando vacation photos, you can pet these ponies or watch them prepare for parades. Perhaps you’d like to partake in potent potables while you are present. No problem! Samples of Anheuser Bush beers are free for adults age 21 and up at “Beer School,” located in the Hospitality House.

Dolphin CoveDolphin Cove: Located in the new “Key West” section of Sea World, this area re-creates the natural habitat of the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin. See them jump, splash and play in one of the largest interactive dolphin pools in the world. During designated times of the day, you can feed and touch these park favorites too!

Dolphin NurseryDolphin Nursery: One of the most popular areas of the park, this area is dedicated to mothers and their babies. Dolphin mothers, that is. Here, you will see how these beautiful creatures interact with their young calves.

Manatee RescueManatee Rescue: This section of Sea World is dedicated to the preservation of the endangered manatee. View the “sea cows” from above and below the surface of the water and learn what you can do to help preserve these gentle creatures. All of the manatees here have been rescued from peril by Sea World’s Rescue Team and many will be returned to the wild after they have fully recuperated.

Pacific Point ReservePacific Point Reserve: Another park favorite, here you will find the rugged shores of the Pacific Northwest re-created as a habitat for fun and playful seals and sea lions.

Penguin EncounterPenguin Encounter: Watch more than 200 penguins and puffins at play in this area, designed to replicate the arctic home of these lovable little guys. As you progress along a 120-foot moving sidewalk, you will see four different species of penguins and three varieties of arctic birds of flight above and below the water as they slip, slide, jump and dive.

Shark EncounterShark Encounter: I don’t know why they changed the name of this attraction from “Terrors of the Deep” to its present name since you will encounter eels, venomous fish and barracuda as well as a wide variety of sharks at the chilling attraction (something fishy is going on here, if you ask me). Visitors walk through an enormous acrylic tunnel where they become virtually surrounded by the most feared predators in the ocean, with only inches separating them from more sharp teeth than they’ll ever want to see again.

Stingray LagoonStingray Lagoon: Here, Orlando vacation goers can touch and feed more than 200 stingrays and their cousins; the guitarfish, in one of the world’s only exhibits dedicated especially to these graceful creatures.

Turtle PointTurtle Point: Here, visitors are introduced to some of the oldest living relatives of the dinosaur. Many of the turtles living in this natural lagoon-like area are on the endangered list and have been rescued from the wild. Learn what we can do to help extend the probability that these creatures are around for many more generations to come.

Wild ArcticWild Arctic: Perhaps my favorite exhibit at the park, the arctic has been re-created here where its featured attractions are walruses, polar bears, harbor seals and beluga whales.
