One of the most popular Orlando vacation destinations, Kennedy Space Center offers visitors a variety of educational and interactive experiences that are sure to appeal to everyone. IMAX® 3-D movies, simulators, educational and informative tours as well as the ability to see and explore a space shuttle replica are some of the many experiences you will find here. Of course, if you are visiting the Orlando area at the right time, you may even have the opportunity to view the launch of a Delta rocket or even a space shuttle while visiting Kennedy Space Center!

Astronaut Training Experience: This unique Kennedy Space Center experience gives Orlando vacationers the opportunity to see what it is like to train like an astronaut. This one day training session includes use of the multi-axis trainer, the 1/6 gravity chair, operating a full scale shuttle mockup and taking the helm at Mission Control. Part of the training includes an exclusive tour of Kennedy Space Center with stops including the Space Shuttle Launch Pads, the International Space Station Center and NASA’a Press Site.
The current cost of this once-in-a-lifetime Orlando vacation experience is currently $225 per person and includes your Astronaut Training Experience gear and lunch. “Astronauts in Training” must be 14 years of age or older and those under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Some of the training equipment and simulators have height and/or weight restrictions and participants should be free from back and neck injuries.
